A nightly program on PBS follows the lead-up to the Britain’s royal wedding. And the documentary “What Haunts Us” reveals a school’s dark past.

What’s on TV

ROYAL WEDDING WATCH 10:30 p.m. on PBS (check local listings). Did you hear? Prince Harry and the actress Meghan Markle (“Suits”) will tie the knot on Saturday at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in England. Whether or not you’ve been following the royal-wedding mania, this five-part series will bring you up to speed. Hosted by Meredith Vieira and Matt Baker, it follows the preparations for the grand ceremony with help from experts, historians and commentators, as well as reporting from Windsor. For the infinitely curious, The New York Times has answered a running list of frequently asked questions about the big day.

LUCIFER 8 p.m. on Fox. The Devil swaps hell for Los Angeles in this adaptation of the Vertigo comic book series. In this third-season finale, a shocking death pulls Lucifer (Tom Ellis), Chloe (Lauren German) and the rest of the team into a search for the killer. Then Lucifer sees things in a new light and Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) tries to save a friendship.
